PLASMA "The fourth state of matter"
The first three stages of matter are solid, liquid and gas. For the most commonly known substance - water - these states are ice, water and steam. If you add heat energy, the ice will change from solid to liquid, and if more heat is added, it will change to a gas (steam). When substantial heat is added to a gas, it will change from gas to plasma, the fourth state. The plasma arc melts the metal and the high velocity gas removes the molten material.
HY-DEFINATION PLASMA
Must not be confused with conventional plasma cutting, Hypertherms patented Hy-Defination plasma technology offers a cost effective alternative to Laser cutting. This process fills the previous void between flame/plasma cutting and Laser cutting. This technology enables us to offer our clients a consistent finished part, with a significantly faster cutting speed, lower running costs and a high quality finished item
STATE OF THE ART SOFTWARE
Drawing files are easily imported and geometry layers located automatically, using our advanced software CNC programming and nesting, we can also optimise the best speed and cutting currents to ensure that our clients get the best finish possible. The parts are auto nested onto the material to ensure that they are positioned in the most economical way, resulting in cost effective cutting of the parts.
